The Historic Preservation Commission reviews applications for alterations to the exterior of buildings located within the Guthrie Capital Townsite Historic District. The Historic Preservation Ordinance, administered by the Historic Preservation Commission provides for the preservation, protection, enhancement, restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and perpetuation of certain improvements, structures, signs, and sites within the Capital Townsite Historic District.
