• Tall Grass & Weeds – Ord. 3203, Art. 3, Sec. 13.30 – 13.38

• Accumulation of Material – Ord. 3203, Art. 2, Sec. 13.20 – 13.28

• Trees Need to be Trimmed – Ord. 3203, Art. 5, Sec. 19.104

• Parking on Unsealed Surface – Ord. 3226, Art. 5, Sec. 10.11

• Inoperable Vehicle(s) – Ord. 3203, Art. 2, Sec. 13.41

• RV/ Trailer/ Boat Parking – Ord. 2422, Art. 5, Sec. 5.1B

• Bulky Trash – Ord. 3203, Art. 2, Sec. 13.21

• Fence Violation – Ord. 2422, Art. 2, Sec. 6.6

Do I need a permit to build a shed?
  • Please contact the City of Guthrie Planning Department to discuss specifics and find out if you need a building permit.
What can I do if someone dumps trash or tree limbs on my property?
  • According to the City of Guthrie Municipal Code it is illegal for anyone to dispose of debris in this manner.  It is ultimately the responsibility of the property owner to ensure their property is clean and free of debris.  Contact the City of Guthrie Code Enforcement office at (405) 282-0551 if you have any further questions.
What can I do if my neighbor's tree limbs are growing over onto my property?
  • As a property owner, you have the right to trim trees or bushes that encroach onto your property. Any tree limbs or branches cut off become debris to be disposed of.  Please contact the Code Enforcement office at (405) 282-0551 with any questions.
What can I do about a vehicle that is parked in the street without being moved?
  • Please call the Non-Emergency Police line at (405) 282-3535 to report the vehicle.
Can I park a trailer in the street?
  • Any trailer that is parked in the street without a tow vehicle attached is considered a dangerous object in the street right of way.  Please contact the Code Enforcement office at (405) 282-0551 to report this issue.
